About Big Lake
Nestled along the Mississippi river in southern Sherburne County, Big Lake comprises a rapidly growing city surrounded by a township of the same name. Ideally located on U.S. Highway 10, and close to I-94, our community enjoys easy access to both the Twin Cities and Saint Cloud. Improving access further, Big Lake is the outlying terminus of the Northstar Commuter Rail Line.
Though well positioned, the rapid growth of our community is not merely an accident of geography. Our burgeoning population enjoys a local clinic and nearby hospital, a growing industrial park, and a dynamic business community.

Farmer's Market
The Big Lake Farmer’s Market is held on Wednesdays at Lakeside Park from 3:00 - 7:00 June through August and 3:00 - 6:00 in September. Parking is free and Debit/Credit & Snap/EBT are now accepted.
